Course Requirements

Sustainability Studies Handbook

We developed this handbook to serve two purposes. It is  a resource for teachers  interested in designing a new course or adapting an existing course for the Sustainability Studies program or within their own departments and colleges.  It also serves as a resource for students engaged in Sustainability Studies. The Handbook offers links to resources across the disciplines, as well as information on sustainability pedagogy and multimedia resources. It is our hope that teachers and students will explore the information in this handbook to enhance learning both within and outside the classroom.

Support for the Handbook came from a University of Florida Faculty Enhancement Opportunity grant. It could not have been completed without the help of numerous undergraduate students, especially Maria Martinez.

It is our hope that teachers and students will explore the information in this handbook to enhance learning both within and outside the classroom.  Click on any of the links on the left to get started.

The Sustainability Studies Handbook is a work in progress, and a collective resource. If you have suggestions for materials to add, delete, or link  please contact us at seatonius@ufl.edu.
